Knipex 7131 CoBolt^® S, chrome-vanadium high-performance steel, forged, oil-hardened at multiple stages, black atramentised, handles coated with plastic. Cutting edges inductive hardened and with recess making it easier to cut larger cross-sections thanks to improved leverage effect near the pivot point, cutting edge hardness approx. 64 HRC, for soft and hard wire as well as piano wire. Small, slender head for very good accessibility, cuts bolts, nails, rivets etc. up to a Ø of 4.8 mm. With gripping surface under the joint for gripping and pulling wires from a Ø of 1.0 mm. Particularly high cutting performance that requires very little force thanks to highly effective joint construction.
