Gripping surfaces with specially hardened teeth, hardness approx. 61 HRC, box joint, guard prevents crushing injuries; self-locking on pipes and nuts. Good access to the workpiece thanks to slim head and joint design, nine-stage step adjustment for 30% more gripping capacity compared to conventional water pump pliers of the same length.
