Contour measuring instruments of the TS family are 2D coordinate measuring units with integrated control electronic and detached, motor controlled X and Z measurement axes. A constant data point distance is guaranteed as a result, irrespective of the slope of the profile. The data acquisition and control via standard interfaces, guarantees long-term reliability and independence from changing computer hardware. Easy, safe and fully automatic component testing is achievable thanks to the invariably precise, horizontal position of the probe.
