This innovative technology reduces noise emissions for neighbours and passers-by with a reduced maximum volume of 93 dB(A) together with a more pleasant sound. In addition, noise peaks at the powerful turbine input are reduced to such an extent that uniformly low sound emissions are achieved all around the device. This enables landscape gardeners and council cleaning teams to remove leaves from large areas even in particularly noise-sensitive areas.

Even wet, heavy leaves can be removed quickly and easily using the high air speed of the BGA 300 of up to 86 m/s. For enhanced energy management, the user can quickly and easily adjust the blowing force on the control handle with LED display to suit the relevant cleaning task using four defined power levels (levels 1–3/boost). The BGA 300 blower tube features infinitely variable quick adjustment: It can be shortened in no time at all (for example for use in tight, narrow areas) and can then be extended just as easily. The position of the control handle can also be adjusted individually to the arm length using a quick release facility. The ergonomic carrying system with hip belt and the centre of gravity close to the user's body of the portable STIHL AR L battery achieves excellent weight distribution.
