Nikwax SoftShell Proof™ Wash-In is quick and easy to apply in the washing machine, and its high-level durable water repellency (DWR) forms during air drying. Application in the washing machine ensures that the product penetrates the garment, treating seams, seals and cords as well as the fabric. What's more, tumble drying becomes unnecessary. This saves energy and protects delicate, older clothing from heat. Nikwax SoftShell Proof™ Wash-In has been specially developed and optimised for soft shell garments. It leaves a flexible, water-repellent layer on individual fibres, allowing moisture to pass through as it evaporates and maintaining breathability.
