The new Smart Connector 2 A works with the STIHL connected system to provide a networking solution for selected battery-powered professional products belonging to STIHL AP systems. The Smart Connector 2 A is attached to a pre-defined position on the device housing and connects to the device electronics, enabling it to provide information about the battery life, speed and much more. All of this information is then made available in the STIHL connected portal. The data is transferred using the same methods as the Smart Connector. Simply touch the button and the LED display will show you whether there are any messages for the device, for example if maintenance is due. You will then be able to find more information about these messages in the STIHL connected app and the STIHL connected portal.
