In the overall STIHL connected system, the Smart Connector represents the universally applicable basic solution for networking petrol, electric and battery products. It is attached to the outside of the machine and records the machine's running time. Per Bluetooth®, the data is transmitted to the STIHL connected App or to the STIHL connected Box. The device information, such as device runtime or maintenance due, is then available for use in both the STIHL connected app and the STIHL connected portal. Note: The Smart Connector can also be used with devices from other manufacturers.
